Photos of our fleeting days

Hoi An Lanterns
With the countdown to touchdown in BTV officially on, every day left in Vietnam is becoming more precious.  The excitement builds.  The suitcases are laid out for the packing game.  We have started giving things away and advertising house wares for sale.  Brianna, the one who carted over fifty books half way around the world, made a massive donation to the Dingo Deli bookshelf in an effort to clear some space in her bag for some souveniers.  Nolan, the hoarder of all things big and small, is going to have a serious packing challenge. Foster would be quite content to toss his X-Box in his backpack and hit the road.

We have found a home for Coconut (big sigh of relief), and this weekend we will start to say good-bye as Fynn, Theo and Catherine head off to Europe for the summer.  The past week has included lots of beach time, a non-celebration of the Fourth of July, a trip to Chu Lai (for John and Nolan) in search of war memories and lots of sentimental photos. The reality is sinking in. Our days are fleeting...
