Buddha Bunny lives! The sacred hare made an appearance in Hoi An for Easter in order to keep one candy holiday tradition intact this year (remember the lame Halloween effort?). We also managed to keep the Easter morning sunrise tradition alive as well. The sunrise was sub-par as it often is atop Mt. Mansfield. It was more of a gradual, steamy, beachside glow. Sun or no sun, I was grateful to be barefoot and warm instead of stomping my feet in a bone-chilling wind. After the traditional post-sunrise nap, we went out for a distinctly non-traditional Easter lunch...papaya salad, club sandwiches and a chicken fajita.
