In Vietnamese the word "ma" has six different meanings depending on the tone you use. It can mean phantom, but, rice seedling, mother, tomb or horse. Does that mean "Mama" has thirty-six different possibilities? One day I could be a "phantom rice seedling" and then a "horse tomb" the next. With three kids and a husband in tow, this mama is headed for a hot and steamy Asian adventure on the South China Sea. Mastering Vietnamese is bound to be just one of our many challenges.

This dog goes both ways
In the event that you were put off by conundrum #6, the "dog meets lady's underwear" story, please rest assured that Coconut is an equal opportunity underwear thief. This morning's prize? Men's boxers and a used...yep, you got it...disgusting. I took one look at the gift at the door and went back to bed. This one had John's name written all over it. Ugh. I've never known a guy to get rid of his "fat undies," so let's hope this pair was deemed unworthy for some other reason. What's left for the dog to drag in? I don't think I really want to know.
