Hmmmm |
I have spent the better part of a decade trying to keep my children from picking their bodily orifices in public. Now I find myself in Vietnam, where it is not only acceptable to pick those orifices in public, but it is apparently an acceptable way to earn a living - prostituting your picking skills. Which leads me to wonder...do Vietnamese children pick their noses like children all over the world, or do their parents just find the guy advertising his services, "picking one's nose," and contract out the excavation?
Then there is the random nature of the services being offered. Hair cut? I get that. "To Share?" I am perplexed. A toe shave perhaps? The ear picking gives me the willies. And then there's the option to rent a motor bike. If none of those services are of interest to you, you can just sit inside and have dinner. This is a restaurant afterall - just watch out for the toe hair and ear wax that may show up in your soup. Bon appetit!
Will you be offering these services at "life is good" when you get home?? ;)

ReplyDeleteWell...it does get awfully slow on Church Street from January-April. Perhaps we should consider an in-store "picking service" to boost profits. I'm sure we could tie it into some positive Life is Good theme like "Waxing Optimistic," or maybe a new graphic for the "Go Green" T-shirt with a finger buried knuckle-deep in a nostril. Kaitlin? What do you think?
